Funeral services for Anngee Rutland will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. Visitation will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and for one hour prior to services on Saturday. A private family burial will take place at a later time in the Appleton City Cemetery.
Anngee Ranae Warner, daughter of Dean and Carol (Olson) Warner, was born February 17, 1974 in Appleton, Minnesota. She grew up in Appleton and was both baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church. Anngee began her schooling in Appleton, eventually graduating from Lac qui Parle Valley High School in 1992. She then continued her education at the Alexandria Technical College, graduating with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management in 1994.
Eventually, Anngee returned to Appleton, the town she loved, and began managing the Appleton Golf Course for the next three years. Over the next several years, Anngee worked at a variety of places in Appleton, including Don's Food Pride, the Appleton-Milan Elementary School as a para-professional and most recently the Appleton Aquatic Center. She was also very active with a variety of groups in the Appleton area, including the Ridge Runners, Toys for Tots and Women of Today. Anngee was also constantly supporting her son's sports team, especially his beloved basketball team.
Family was everything to Anngee! She loved gathering at the lake, going on trips and just spending time with her entire family. More than anything, Anngee had an endless love and deep devotion toward her husband, Nate; her son, Jamison and her daughter, Ayden that will remain with them forever. Anngee was a loving and giving person, and she will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Anngee passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 9, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN, having lived to reach the age of 39 years.
She is survived by her husband, Nate Rutland of Appleton; two children: Jamison Warner and Ayden Rutland of Appleton; her parents, Dean and Carol Warner of Appleton; one sister, Rachel (Tim) Strain of Rochester; mother-in-law, Barb Rutland of Appleton; father-in-law, Jerry (Lisa) Rutland of Princeton; three brothers-in-law: Nick Rutland of Appleton, Jay (Kelsey) Rutland of Alexandria and D.J. Erickson of Virginia and two nieces: Landree Strain and Faith Rutland. Anngee was preceded in death by infant son Griffen Rutland.
All of Anngee's Loving Relatives and Friends will serve as her pallbearers. Andrea Johnson will serve as organist for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris has been entrusted to care for Anngee and her family during this difficult time.
