The memorial service for Ardyce Ruth Webb, of Morris, Minnesota will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morris, with Reverend Donald Main officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 and a time of sharing to follow at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at the Summit Cemetery, Morris.
Ardyce Ruth Mohr was born July 15, 1957 to Robert and Aileen (Giese) Mohr in Morris, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Morris.
She graduated from Morris Area High School in 1975 and attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.
On August 13, 1983, Ardyce and Lee Webb were united in marriage. They had one daughter, Jodie. The family moved to a farm northwest of Morris, where Ardyce learned a whole new appreciation for nature and living life as a cowgirl.
Ardyce spent her life in the Morris area, quickly becoming a familiar face in the local community. She was passionate about helping people, which made her a perfect fit for the customer service world.
Her other hobbies included cooking/baking, playing cards, bird watching, reading and playing with her beloved dog, Bear.
Ardyce passed away suddenly on December, 24, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. She was 58 years old.
She is survived by her husband: Lee Webb of Morris; her daughter: Jodie (Dustin) Louwagie of Aurora, SD; one brother: Curtis (Kitty) Mohr of Prior Lake; four sisters: Marladene Mohr of New Brighton, Cindy (Richard) Swenson of Waite Park, Jeri (Robert) Browning of Lolita, TX and Judy Mohr of Breckenridge and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter: Kaitlyn Louwagie; three sisters: Ione Murphy, Kathleen Holbert and Diane Mohr; three brothers: Harlan Mohr, Darrell Mohr and Vernon Mohr and three nephews: Alan Yochim, Joel Mohr and Darin Webb.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are given to the American Cancer Society.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
