Audrey Joyce Mumm, daughter of Oscar and Leona (Wendt) Mumm, was born January 16, 1934 in Horton Township in Stevens County, Minnesota, where she grew up. She was baptized on February 2, 1934 and confirmed on June 15, 1947 at Zion Lutheran Church.  Audrey began her schooling at a country school in Horton Township, thru the 8th grade, before attending the West Central School of Agriculture, where she met many lifelong friends, and was on the cheerleading squad. Audrey graduated in 1951 after her third year; she continued on for a fourth year, her senior year, completing her education in 1952. On March 8, 1953 she was united in marriage to Robert Berg at Trinity Lutheran Church in Johnson, Minnesota. To this union six children were born. They made their home on a farm, northwest of Chokio, Minnesota.

Audrey was an avid book reader and belonged to a book club called the Book Worms. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, gardening, shopping, and traveling to Chanhassen plays with her side-kick and sister-in-law, Jan Arneson or one of her many friends.  She and Bob enjoyed attending concerts and sporting events of their children, including their football, volleyball and basketball games.  Audrey loved to watch the Minnesota Timberwolves and golf tournaments on television.  Audrey babysat a lot in her younger years; children had a love for her too.  Audrey had a tender heart for seniors in homes and was known to bring bars and cookies and shared a lot of love to the elderly. She had numerous long-time loyal friends who cared deeply for her. Audrey had a great love for her family and many friends.

Audrey had received from God, blessed assurance of Salvation in Jesus, our savior.  Audrey was a fun, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother and true friend.  We know she is now with our Lord and Savior, but we will miss her deeply.
