Byron Boyd Holman, son of Melvin and Ethel (Erickson) Holman, was born July 5, 1933 in
Byron was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Morris, where he served on the Finance Committee. He was a scrupulous bridge player and loved woodworking, fishing and spending time at Little Pine Lake Cabin with his wonderful two families. Byron was very proud to have served his country.

Honorary pallbearers are his bridge buddies: Harold Anderson, Dr. Ketterling, Dr. Krasses and his brothers: Dick Holman and Kermit Holman. Deb Mahoney will serve as pianist for the service with Holly Giese serving as soloist. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
