The celebration of life visitation for Clifford Anderson of Morris, MN will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris.
Clifford Norman Anderson, son of Martin and Agnes (Berglund) Anderson, was born October 5, 1924 in Roslyn, South Dakota. As a young man he worked for the CCC. On May 19, 1945 he was united in marriage to Gloria "Dolly" Johnson. To this union three daughters were born. Cliff had a passion for cars, especially classic cars and auctions. He owned and operated Anderson Garage in Cyrus, MN for many years. After closing his business, Cliff worked for Arvid Beyer and was also a volunteer fireman for the City of Cyrus.
Cliff died on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at West Wind Village in Morris, MN. He lived to 89 years.
He is survived by his daughter: Gretchen (Mitch) Sutton of Mexico; grandsons: Dirk (Arlene) Rohrer and Kenneth (Laurie) Helberg; granddaughters: Darcie (Jeff) Thomas and Debbie (Jeff) Roe; sisters: Margaret Berghuis and Arlene (Al) Sister both of Washington and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; two daughters: Dianna Nygaard and Penny Jo Anderson; his parents; one granddaughter: Kolleen Kill; four brothers: Walfred, Emil, Melvin and Clarence Anderson and two sisters: Evelyn Truax and Marian Erickson.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the family.
