Craig John Anderson, son of Manly and Lorraine (Awsumb) Anderson, was born January 11, 1956 in Morris, Minnesota. He grew up and began his schooling in the Morris area, until the family purchased a farm in the Donnelly/Alberta area. Craig then began attending the Alberta Public Schools, graduating from Chokio Alberta High School in 1974. Craig then began working in the road construction business in the Morris area. After working for various contractors in the Morris area over a period of several years, Craig moved to Arizona, where he continued to work construction for approximately 10 years, returning to Minnesota in 1997. He then made his home in Herman, and began working for his current employer, Ferguson Brothers Excavating, Inc. in Alexandria. Craig has recently moved from Herman to Barrett, where he had lived for the last year.
Along with being very skilled at his job in road construction, Craig was also very talented mechanically and loved to spend time fixing things. He enjoyed hunting in earlier years as time allowed. Craig will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
