It is appropriate he passed on Valentine’s Day as most that knew him would describe him as a Sweetheart.
Preceded in death by his parents Emily and Ted. His first wife Joanna and his second wife Darlene.
Survived by his sons: Curtis E. Jr. (Nadine) Anderson of Crystal and Blane Joseph (Patti) Anderson of Chisago City. Grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Matt, Amber and Brittney; Stepdaughter: Colleen Shelden of Starbuck; grandchildren: Renee, Nicole and Samantha; Great-grandchildren: Rainna, Ciara, Dylan, Heidi Darlene, Nathan Curtis, Lawrence, and Mariah.

He loved to spend much of his time working in his huge garden growing the tastiest potatoes, flowers and pumpkins for the grandkids. He will be remembered for his fantastic jellies, pickles and canned peaches. Longtime locals will remember him as the friendly, talkative delivery man for the Starbuck Bakery and as a carryout at Pete’s Supervalu. A loving father that will be deeply missed by his family and the staff at the Starbuck Lutheran Home.
Pallbearers for the service are: Rick Miller, Josh Anderson, Gordy Chapin, Josh Harwell, Todd Shelden and Jacob Anderson. Monica Gosseling will serve as organist for the service. Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck is in charge of the arrangements.
