Funeral services for Dale Zeltwanger of Morris, Minnesota will be Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church, rural Morris. Apostolic Christian Church Ministers will be officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church, Morris North, 418 Birch Ave, Morris. Visitation will resume one hour prior to services at the Apostolic Christian Church, rural Morris on Monday. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, rural Morris.
Dale William Zeltwanger, son of Kenneth and Edna (Meiss) Zeltwanger, was born September 4, 1950 in Morris, Minnesota. He was baptized into faith on April 21, 1968 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Morris. Dale began his schooling at District #45 County School thru the 5th grade. He attended Hancock Public School, graduating from Hancock High School. Dale continued his education at the University of Minnesota Morris for the next two years. He was united in marriage to Rachel Ann Rinkenberger on February 20, 1972, in La Crosse, Indiana. The couple lived on the family farm near Hancock, until 2005, when they moved into Morris. Dale was employed at Riverview Dairy until the time of his death.
Dale was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Morris North in Morris. He became a minister on August 4, 1985. Dale enjoyed reading, spreading the Word of the Lord and traveling with Rachel. He especially enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Dale died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota. He was 66 years old.
He is survived by his wife: Rachel Zeltwanger of Morris; his children: Adam (Christy) Zeltwanger of Morris, Micah (Holly) Zeltwanger of Morris, Dixie (Wes) Gerber of Leo, IN, Carrie (Tom) Strahm of Sabetha, KS and Rosie (Trent) Strahm of Sebetha, KS; 15 grandchildren; two brothers: Loren (Rhonda) Zeltwanger of Goodfield, IL and Rollyn (Jodi) Zeltwanger of Hancock and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
