Memorial services for Darlene Krupke Eggert of Hancock, Minnesota will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Hancock. Reverend Julius Miller will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Darlene Joanne Estensen, daughter of Bob and Winifred Estensen, was born May 12, 1933 in Hancock, MN. Darlene was united in marriage to Howard Krupke, three children were born to this union. Darlene was a resident of Hancock, MN, where she worked for the Yellow pages for several years, before moving to Florida in the early 1980's, where she became a successful real estate agent and broker. Upon on her retirement in 2009, Darlene moved back to Hancock, where she continued to live until the time of her death. Darlene, better known as grandma great to most, enjoyed life to the fullest. Some of her many interests were spending time with her family and friends. She loved camping, kayaking, fishing, boat rides, playing cards, making bets and swimming. Darlene loved to travel and aquire rocks from many undisclosed locations. She had a passion for watching NASCAR. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Darlene died unexpectedly on Friday, March 23, 2012 in Arizona. She lived to reach the age of 78 years.
She is survived by two children: Larry Krupke of Hector and Donna (Kermit) Eckel of Eagle Bend; one sister: Pat Koskovich of Rogers and many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Winifred Estensen; son, Jerry Krupke and his father Howard Krupke; husbands, Frank Jazdinski and Fritz Eggert; brother-in-law, Lane Koskovisch; nephew, Mike Koskovich and brother, Harland Estensen.
Pallbearers for the service are all of Darlene's great-grandchildren: Jaden, Bailey, Abbie, Zander, Alex, Zach, Becka, Bubba, Audrey, Crysa, Isaiah and Christopher. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
