David Hagen

Funeral services for David Hagen of Morris, formerly of Alberta, MN will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris. Pastoral Intern Chris Richards will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday. Burial will be in Frog Lake Cemetery near Alberta.

David Dean Hagen, son of Dean and Ginger (Gjerde) Hagen, was born August 18, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he was baptized on October 11, 1964 at Christ the King Church. David was confirmed on October 4, 1977 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chokio. In 1975, David's family moved to Alberta. On June 15, 1985, he was united in marriage to Jodi Lynn Wells at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris. The couple made their home south of Alberta. Jodi died on November 19, 2008. David has continued to live in the Alberta and Morris area since that time.

David enjoyed fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

David died on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at West Wind Village in Morris. He lived to 50 years.

He is survived by his parents: Dean and Ginger Hagen of Alberta; his siblings: Michelle (Dan) Machart of Finley, ND, Jackie (Mark) Holslin of Alberta and Ken (Julie) Hagen of Blaine; his grandmother: Garnet Gjerde of New London; his mother-in-law: Dorothy Farwell of Morris; many nieces and nephews; one great nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife; grandparents: Sig and Christine Hagen and Olaf Gjerde and father-in-law: Frank Farwell.

Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
