Dawn Moser

The funeral for Dawn Moser, of Morris, Minnesota will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church - Morris North. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and Wednesday, one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, Morris.

Dawn Rose Nohl, daughter of David and Eileen (Hunt) Nohl was born on April 13, 1965 in Wadena, Minnesota; the same day and year as her future Husband Doug. She grew up in Hancock, Minnesota, graduating from Hancock High School in 1983. During her teen years she worked at the family meat locker in Morris. Dawn graduated from St. Paul Tech Vocational Institute with her LPN in 1985. She was united in marriage to Doug Moser on June 14, 1986 at the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall, near Morris. The couple made their home near Hancock and Morris. Dawn managed Adventureland Video for a short time; before working as an LPN at the West Wind Village in Morris. She worked as an LPN at the Stevens Community Medical Center for the past 25 years, where she held the position of professional baby holder for the nurse/midwife.

Dawn's love for Christ was foremost in her life as was shown through her involvement with her church family and many church activities. These activities never failed to brighten her everpresent smile.
Dawn volunteered with 4-H and kept busy with her children's activities. She enjoyed being with friends and family, visiting State Parks, camping, reading, crafting, and gardening.

Dawn died on Saturday, January 14, 2017 surrounded by her family at the West Wind Village in Morris, Minnesota. She was 51 years old.

She is survived by: her husband, Doug, Morris, MN; four children, Brandon Moser, Fargo, ND, Preston Moser, Amanda Moser and Emily Moser, all of Morris, MN; her father and step-mom, David and Cheryl Nohl, Morris, MN; an honorary son, Dylan (Kim)Stanton-Ring, Lisbon, ND; four siblings, Terry (Peggy) Nohl, Hancock, MN, Shawn (Paul) Schmidgall, Morris, MN, Shelly (Chris) Koehl, Clinton, WI and Jody (Trevor) Schmidgall, Hancock, MN. Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen Nohl, her grandparents, Henry and Anna Nohl and Gilbert and Evelyn Hunt, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
