Deborah Mitchell

Deborah Marie Mitchell, daughter of Bruce and Teresa (Boyd) Mitchell, was born September 18, 1975 in Edina, Minnesota. She was baptized in 1975 in Minnesota by Reverend Mitchell and confirmed in 1993 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Deborah grew up on the family farm in Minnesota while attending three different schools. She finished her schooling at Chileda in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. For the past 16 years, Deborah has lived in Luverne, Minnesota, while working at Rock County Opportunities.

Deborah enjoyed playing card games, telling jokes, listening to music, bowling and scrapbooking picture albums of her family.

Deborah died on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, having lived to reach the age of 38 years.

She is survived by her parents: Bruce and Teresa "Terri" Mitchell of Starbuck; four brothers: Stephen (Jennifer) Mitchell of Lafayette, IN, Daniel (Lauren) Mitchell of Costa Mesa, CA, Matthew (Sara) Mitchell of Seattle, WA and Mark Mitchell of Starbuck and two sisters: Sharon (Paul) Peterson and their daughter, Brianna of Eden Prairie and Jessica Mitchell of Shakopee. She was preceded in death by her sister: Elizabeth Mitchell and her grandparents.

A private service was held at the family farm and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck is in charge of the arrangements.
