A graveside service for Denise Reynolds of Morris, Minnesota, will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Summit Cemetery in Morris, with Reverend Emmy Swedlund officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris, immediately following the graveside service.
Denise Ann Reynolds, daughter of Richard and Shirley (Wickstrom) Reynolds, was born May 29, 1968, in Starbuck, Minnesota along with her twin sister, Diane. She was baptized at Peace Lutheran Church in Morris July of 1968, and was confirmed on May 5, 1983, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Starbuck. Denise attended and graduated from Cyrus High School on May 31, 1986. Growing up, Denise babysat for several families and also volunteered at numerous places. Denise went on to attend Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, Minnesota, where she graduated in 1989, with a degree in general secretarial.
Denise was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Morris. She was a devout Christian. She enjoyed playing cards and like her twin sister, eating five cheese Tombstone pizza. Denise was a very kind, loyal and gentle soul, who loved her family and especially her twin sister, Diane. She will forever be missed. Denise was an organ donor and has given the gift of sight to two people.
Denise passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Stevens County Medical Center in Morris. She was 56 years old.
Denise is survived by her mother: Shirley Reynolds of Starbuck; cousin: Vicky (Dale) Logan of Starbuck; and godson: Michael Reynolds of Breckenridge, MN; godmother: Betty Anderson of Starbuck; aunt: June Reynolds of Morris and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her father; twin sister: Diane Miller; grandparents: Bessie and Charles Reynolds, and Annie and Oscar Wickstrom; and several other aunts and uncles.
