The celebration of life visitation for Dianna Anderson Nygaard, of Morris, Minnesota will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris.
Dianna Jean Anderson, daughter of Clifford and Gloria (Johnson) Anderson was born on October 13, 1946 in Morris, Minnesota. She grew up and attended school in Cyrus, Minnesota graduating in 1964. She was united in marriage to Dale Rohrer in 1965. The couple lived in Cyrus, where Dianna stayed home and cared for her children. Dianna married Gene Nygaard in 1983 in New Mexico. The couple lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Dianna worked as a CNA at a nursing home and also managed an apartment complex. The couple retired in 2003 and moved to New London, Minnesota. In 2010, Dianna moved to Morris, where she has lived until the time of her death.
She enjoyed garage and auction sales, and loved crafts. She had a knack for decorating.
Dianna died on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She was 66 years old.
She is survived by one son, Dirk (Arlene) Rohrer, Shevlin, MN; two daughters, Darcie (Jeff) Thomas, Rio Rancho, NM and Debbie (Jeff) Roe, Amarillo, TX; her father, Clifford Anderson, Morris; one sister: Gretchen (Mitch) Sutton, Xalapa, Mexico; four grandchildren, Nicholas Rohrer and Gina Rohrer, both of Shevlin, Katelyn Thomas, Rio Rancho, NM and Ashley Roe, Amarillo, TX; her former husband, Gene Nygaard, New London, MN and special friend Shane Smith, Morris. Dianna was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria, one sister, Penny Anderson, one uncle, Jerry Johnson, one niece, Colleen Kill and her grandparents.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the family.
