Dominick Charles “Jun” Nigro, Jr, son of Dominick and Catherine (Petrino) Nigro, was born January 31, 1926 in Buffalo, New York, where he grew up on 380 Maryland Street. He was baptized on April 30, 1926 and confirmed at a later date at Holy Cross R. C. Church in
Dominick was a member of the National Council of Exchangers-NCE (Real Estate), The Veterans of Foreign Wars, VFW, American Legion and AARP. He enjoyed golfing, reading, gardening and working on the computer. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family.
Dominick died on May 11, 2010 at his home in Morris, Minnesota, having lived to reach the age of 84 years.
He is survived by his wife: Katherine Nigro of Morris; three daughters: Dianne Nigro of Almere-Haven, The Netherlands, Claire Lynn (Lance) Castille of Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Angela (Edward) Shaw of Charlottsville, VA; four grandchildren: Kajsa deHaan (William Puijk) of the Netherlands, Elainique deHaan of The Netherlands, Philip Shaw and David Shaw of Charlottsville, VA; one great-granddaughter: Sydney Puijk of The Netherlands. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Mary, Louis, Margaret, Joseph, Rose, Phyllis, Nicholas, and Dick.
