The memorial service for Donald John Stableski, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the home of Mark and Donna Anderson, 7600 Lee Ave., Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Donald John Stableski, son of Eugene and Betty (Curtis) Stableski was born on April 17, 1957 at Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up and attended school at Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and Minneapolis Lutheran High School in Minneapolis, graduating in 1975. After his graduation, Don attended Golden Valley Lutheran College at Golden Valley, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Sherrie Rahn on April 7, 1999 at Minneapolis. Together they raised one son Justin. Don was an employee at GAF, Inc. in Minneapolis, for 34 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and spending time with family and friends.
Don died on Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris, Minnesota. He was 55 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie, and one son, Justin, both of St. Louis Park, MN; one brother, Steve (Tina) Stableski, Circle Pines, MN; Carol (Keith Uthe) Stableski, Isanti, MN; mother-in-law, Alice Rahn, Morris, MN; one brother-in-law, Monte (Judy) Rahn, Johnson, MN; two sisters-in-law, Connie Smith, Pineland, FL and Lynn (Bruce) Johnson of Alberta, MN; one uncle, Earl Rahn, Graceville, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and infant sister and father-in-law, Forrest "Jr." Rahn.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
