Dorothy Buss

Dorothy Teberg Buss, was born on October 10, 1928 in Ottertail County to Sarah Martin and William C. Teberg. She grew up and received her schooling in the Erhard and Fergus Falls areas. Dorothy was married to Lawrence Mumme in 1948 in Fergus Falls. The couple made their home in Morris. Lawrence died in 1964. She married Clifford Buss in 1969.

Dorothy was a member of the Federated Church in Morris, where she was active in women's fellowship. She was also very active with the American Red Cross Blood Mobile for several years.

Dorothy died on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital-Heart Institute in Minneapolis, having lived to reach the age of 79 years.

She is survived by her husband: Clifford Buss of Morris; two daughters: Linda (Bill) Mock of St. Joseph and Lorri (Vern) Johnson of Staples; one son: Mark Mumme of St. Cloud; one step-son: Greg (Marsha) Buss of Morris; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother: Charles Teberg of Fergus Falls and two sisters: Mary Sha and Hazel Evenson both of Fergus Falls. She was preceded in death by first husband: Lawrence Mumme; step-son: James Buss; her parents; three brothers: William Teberg, Louis Teberg and Henry Teberg and two sisters: Minerva Neulieb and Gertrude Jaenisch.

Urnbearers for the service are Dorothy's grandsons: Travis Doering and Michael Buss. Honorary urnbearers are Dorothy's grandchildren: Maggie Buss, Eric Mumme, Elan Mumme, Josh Mumme, Brianna Anderson, Courtney Mumme, Brenda Newiger, Kevin Mock, AmyRose Mock. Cheryl Rempel will serve as organist for the service, with Corrine Knochenmus serving as soloist. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
