Dorothy Krosch

The funeral for Dorothy E. Krosch, of Morris, will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morris, with Reverend Donald Main officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Summit Cemetery, Morris.
Dorothy E. Giese, daughter of Otto and Martha (Reimers) Giese was born on April 13, 1930 at Holloway, Minnesota, where she was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church and was confirmed on June 4, 1944 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hancock by Pastor H. C. Duehlmeier. She grew up and attended school in Hancock, Minnesota; graduating from Hancock High School. Dorothy was united in marriage to Duane Krosch, and through this union two sons were born. Dorothy worked for J.C. Penny in Morris for many years. She became a resident at the West Wind Village in Morris in July of 2003.
Dorothy died on Sunday, June 30th at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris. She was 83 years old.
She is survived by one son, Dean (Lottie) Krosch, Barrett; one brother Robert (Bev) Giese, Morris; one sister, Joan (Milton) Wente, Benson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Daniel, an infant twin brother, her brother, Milton and one sister, Nettie Wiese.
