Eileen Fetz

The funeral for Eileen Mae Fetz, of rural Morris will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hosanna Worship Center in Morris, with Pastor Pat Franey officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. and will continue on Friday at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Summit Cemetery, Morris.

Eileen Mae Krieg, daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Easton) Krieg was born on January 30, 1941 in Colebrook Township in Ohio. She graduated high school from Mount Carmel School in Kentucky. After her schooling, Eileen entered the United States Army Medical Corps, serving at Valley Forge Hospital in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She was united in marriage to Anthony "Tony" Fetz on August 17, 1961 at St. Joseph's Church in Elwood, Indiana. The couple made their home in Indiana for several years, before moving to Chandler, Arizona in 1980, where Eileen worked as a house keeper. In 2002, the couple moved to rural Morris, Minnesota, where they had a hobby farm and worked for Prairie Community Services in Starbuck until retiring in 2012.

Eileen was a member of the Morris Community Church. She enjoyed decorating, watching cooking shows, and visiting people. She collected teapots and cups and saucers. Eileen loved music, singing, and her "Lord". She will be remembered as a woman of prayer and song.

Eileen died on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Glenwood Lakeview Good Samaritan Center in Glenwood, Minnesota. She was 72 years old.

She is survived by her husband Tony Fetz, and one son Anthony Fetz, both of rural Morris, MN; four daughters, Angela (Dennis) Stewart, Tempe, AZ, Julie Gober, AZ, Suzie (Terry) Larson, Lomira, WI and Sandra Ksena Rae, Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Roger (Donna) Krieg, Warren, OH and LeRoy (Gay) Krieg, Paradise Valley, AZ; two sisters, Martha (Bill) Burger and Diane (Robert) Longstreth, all of Warren, OH; eighteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Gene, one granddaughter, Elizabeth and one great-granddaughter, Meira Lyn.

Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
