Memorial services for Eilert Beyer of Cyrus, Minnesota will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Morris on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Reed Stockman officiating. Visitation will take place at the church Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday.
Eilert Wayne Beyer was born January 2, 1943 in Framnes Township to Elmer and Laura (Melchert) Beyer. He entered into marriage to Dorraine Hildebrandt on November 24, 1962 at Zion Lutheran Church in Morris. Eilert workd many years farming which he loved being in the tractor. He retired from Cenex driving fuel transport. After retirement he still loved helping in the tractor and he also worked for the of City of Cyrus. Eilert was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Eilert passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND; he was 79 years old.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Dorraine; his sons: Duane Beyer of Cyrus, Brian (Laura) Beyer of Granite Falls and Ehric Beyer (Marie Kohout) of Lakeville; daughters: Pam (Tim) Wasmund of Boyd, Michelle (Ned) Clark of Cedar Rapids, IA and Kim Beyer (Jeff Albrights) of Carlisle; grandchildren: Brianna (Danny) Aker, Ashley (Jeremy) Kuda, Shannon (Ian) Tjaden, Kayla Wasmund, Cory Wasmund (Krista Miller), Amy (Jesse) Anderson, Tyler (Julia) Mithun, Kilee, Landon, and Tiffany Beyer, Morgan, Shanda, and Cole Halvorson, and Holden Quaal, Brandon and Andrew Beyer, Jordan (Raven) Zens, Cameron (Casey) Zens, and Alivia Clark; great-grandkids: Brayden and Paxton Tjaden, Pearce, Dom, and Lia Aker, Jase, Teagen, and Brynlee Anderson, Linken and Kendyn Wasmund, Wrigley Zens, Charlee and Liam Kuda, Lincoln Churchill, Myah, Faith, and Grace Mithun, Sylas Halvorson; siblings: Arvid Beyer (Mary Robertson), Dale Beyer, Milt (Audree) Beyer, Glad (Pam) Beyer, and Bruce Beyer; sisters: Arlene (Don) Farver, Lynette (Jim) Fermoyle and Diane Beyer (Dean Glunz); sister-in-law: Evie Beyer; brother-in-law: Rollie Schinzel; and several nieces and nephews. Eilert was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents: Elmer and Laura Beyer; sister: Chrystille Schinzel; brother: Earl Beyer; sister-in-law: Joyce Beyer; and nephew: Boyd Beyer.
