There will be a visitation for Elaine Carol Henrichs of Morris, MN on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris.
Elaine Carol Lesmeister, daughter of Leonard and Florence (Telkamp) Lesmeister, was born May 30, 1941 in Roseville Township, where she grew up and attended country school. Her family later moved north of Morris and Elaine began attending St. Mary's School. She continued on at the West Central School of Agriculture in Morris. Following her schooling, she began farming and raising her son, Brian. When her grandchildren were born, she helped take care of them. In 1990, Elaine moved to Morris, where she cooked at the Morris Elementary School and cleaned at Prairie Medical. She retired in 2013 and has continued to live in Morris until the time of her death.
Elaine enjoyed gardening, especially flowers and cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Elaine died on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Courage Cottage in Morris, having lived to the age of 73.
She is survived by her son: Brian Henrichs (Cindy) of Donnelly; three grandchildren: Darrick Henrichs (Amber Gausmann), Haley Henrichs and Mikaela Henrichs all of Donnelly; siblings: Jack (Ardis) Lesmeister of Morris, Patricia Nelson of Morris, Marilyn (Rick) Mathias of Wheaton, Chuck (Laurie) Lesmeister of Morris, Connie (Randy) Reuss of Barrett and Sheila (Todd) Ronhovde of Barrett; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
