, where she grew up and began her schooling. She graduated from
Washington
High School
in
Sioux Falls
. Following her schooling, she worked in a dental office and during WWII, Elaine worked in an airplane plant in
Washington
State
. On October 7, 1945, she was united in marriage to Curtis Vincent in
Sioux Falls
,
SD
by Reverend Harvey R. Gregerson. Following their marriage, the couple lived on Marine Corps Bases in North and
South Carolina
, where they also began raising their six children. They later moved back to
Sioux Falls
, where Elaine worked and ran Main Avenue Flea Market for the next 16 years. Following her retirement, Elaine moved to
Minnesota
, where she lived until the time of her death.
Elaine was a member of Sons of Norway. Elaine’s passion was fishing and looking for that one of a kind object and rummage sales and auctions. While she was in high school, she played the trumpet and trombone and loved to sing and yodel. She was an entertainer and had a smile for everyone. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

and Amy Vincent of

; 23 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Ivar Sandness; one sister: Clara Garness and Curtis Vincent
