Erland Lars Wevley, son of Earl William and Leola Marie (Kussatz) Wevley, was born on December 31, 1959 in Morris, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Morris and graduated from Morris Senior High School in 1978. In 1980, he graduated from Willmar Vocational Technical School, with a degree in auto body repair. He was employed at Harvest States, Lawn and Driveway Service Inc. and most currently at Concrete Minnesota in Morris as a truck driver.
Erland Lars died on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at his home in Morris, having lived to reach the age of 47 years.
He is survived by his father: Earl Wevley of Menahga; brothers: Vernon (Leona) Wevley of Morris, Willard (Paula) Wevley of Menahga, David Wevley of St. Louis Park, Eric (Karla) Wevley of Stoughton, WI and Aaron Wevley of Willmar; sister: Alice (Dennis) Pietrek of Sturgeon Lake and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother: Leola.
Pallbearers for the service are: Doug Morton, Chuck Lesmeister, Kevin Smith, Terry Kukla, Kevin Wevley and Keith Kaehler. Rita Lambert will serve as pianist for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
