A private burial for Etta Pederson of Morris, formerly of Donnelly, MN will take place at Kongsvinger Cemetery, in rural Donnelly.

Etta Kruize was born on December 27, 1921, the daughter of Henry and Gertie (Lamfers) Kruize of Rendsville Township, in Donnelly, Minnesota. Etta was baptized on June 8, 1924. She attended school at District 7 in Rendsville Township and was confirmed at St. John Church in Donnelly. On July 17, 1946, she married Emil Pederson at the church parsonage. They made their home on their farm in Rendsville Township and raised three children.
Etta was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Morris since 2010 and was a member of Kongsvinger Lutheran Church of rural Donnelly prior to that.
Etta passed away at the Stevens Community Medical Center on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. She was 98 years old.
Etta is survived by her children, Donna (Norman) Nissen of Hancock, Donald (Ethel) Pederson of Fergus Falls, and Gordon (Lynette) Pederson of Alexandria; 11 grandchildren: Kristine, Kevin, Justin, Alice, Jodi, Heather, Laurie, Jason, John, Gary and Curtis; 25 great grandchildren: Esther, Scott, Elisha, James, Isabella, Sofia, Jacob, Isaac, Jessica, Phillip, Nicholas, Abigail, Lauren, Brianna, Sydney, Madelyn, Allyson, McKenna, Reese, Camden, Kyle, Kaylee, Brevin, Kali and Kaitlyn; three great-great grandchildren: Matthew, Levi and Aaron; and brother-in-law, George (Arlys) Pederson of Morris.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil in 1976; parents, Henry and Gertie Kruize; stepmother, Malinda; great granddaughter, Roselynn; brothers, Eltjo, William, Ben, George and John Kruize; sister: Geesien Kill; step-sisters: Hazel Anderson, Luella Mau, and Leona Waller; and stepbrother, Vernon Kruize.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Kongsvinger Cemetery in Donnelly or Bethel Lutheran Church in Morris. Arrangements are with the Pedersen Funeral Home of Morris. To send condolences to the family please visit www.pedersenfh.com.
