in Johnson where she was later confirmed on April 10, 1927.
Geneva
grew up in Chokio and graduated from

High School
and after attended

Agriculture
School
. On December 29, 1942
Geneva
was united in marriage to Vernon J. Vesterby. The couple made their home in Chokio where
Geneva
worked for Moffat Motor Co., Trost Motors, and the Chokio Clinic. The Couple celebrated their 50
th
wedding anniversary on December 29, 1992.
Geneva
enjoyed playing cards, especially smear. She was also an avid gardener, and loved to watch the Twins play on TV. She was an active member of WELCA, and a member of the senior center.
Geneva
died on Friday July 23, 2010 at the Courage Cottage in
Morris
,
Minnesota
having lived to reach the age of 97 years.
She is survived by one sister: Evelyn Leuthard of Chokio. Three sisters-in-law: Ruth Zimmerman of Chokio; Fern Zimmerman of Chokio; Shirley Moerer of
Wheaton
as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers Harvey Zimmerman and Alvin Zimmerman.
