Georgia Mae Libbon was born August 5, 1925 to Howard and Grace (Hallman) Libbon on the family farm in Morris, Minnesota. She was baptized by Pastor G.A. Pilgrim and confirmed into the Lutheran faith by Pastor Meake. Georgia attended country school in District 22 in rural Morris through the 8th grade. She and her sister, Ruth, felt time spent with their parents on the farm was a blessing. Georgia took pride in keeping the farm site up with the company of her beloved dog, Peppy. Ruth passed away in 1991. Four years later the Libbon Farm was named a Century farm, which Georgia was very proud of having been raised and living on the farm her entire life. She became a resident of West Wind Village in April of 2013, and lived there until her time of passing.
Georgia was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, enjoyed knitting, embroidery, rug making and flower gardening. She will always treasure her memories of the family day trips seeing the country side and bowling league with Ruth.
