Teddy Harriet Fjeld, daughter of Sidney and (Hannah) Luella (Brown) Blaisdell was born on April 15, 1919 in Royalton, Minnesota. At the age of three Harriet moved with her family to Morris, where she has lived since. She was united in marriage to Roy Fjeld on August 8, 1940 in Morris. Harriet primarily was a homemaker but she did work as a waitress at various cafAC.'s in Morris over the years.
Harriet was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Morris. She was an assistant leader for the Camp Fire Girls. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and active in the Ladies Aide of Bethany and Faith Lutheran. She loved to going fishing with Roy and vacationing in the Park Rapids area. Harriet also enjoyed embroidering, crocheting and doing fancy work.
Harriet died on Friday December 14, 2007 at Merit Care Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota having lived to reach the age of 88 years.
She is survived by her daughters: Bonnie (Donald) Reeder of St. Paul, and Connie (Lawrence) Huber of Las Vegas, NV; sister: Idell Mosey of Breckenridge; 3 grandchildren: Daniel Reed of Long Beach, CA, Benjamin (Lynn Leitte) Reed of New York City, NY; Timothy Hohn of Startzville, TX; Great-grandchildren Brittany Hohn and Jessica Schroeder; several nieces and nephews. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Roy; infant daughter Kay; brother: William Crandal; sister: Ida Galles; brother: Ira McKinley Blaisdell and very good friend Lester Perkins.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Daniel Reed, Benjamin Reed, Timothy Hohn and Donald Reeder. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Fjeld and Paul Mosey. Rita Lambert will serve as organist. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of arrangements:
