Jack Ritter

Funeral services for Jack Charles Ritter infant son of Adam and Carla (Long) Ritter of Morris will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Morris. Reverend Jack Baumgarn will be officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 pm at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Morris.

Baby boy Jack Charles Ritter was named several months ago and was expected to be born by cesarean section on Monday, May 14, 2012. He came to us early on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 7:14 p.m. at the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria, Minnesota. He was a complete and whole baby at 9 lbs, 2 oz and 20 ½ inches long. A beautiful baby boy with light brown hair, button nose, plump cheeks, perfect pink lips and his little round face.

Jack is survived by his parents: Adam and Carla Ritter of Morris; two sisters: Emma Grace and Evelyn Ann of Morris; grandparents: Don and Karen Ritter of Morris, Wendel and Deb Marotzke of Hancock and Charles and Karen Long of Herman; great-grandparents: Margie Mesenbrink, Loretta Ritter, Virginia Long and Opal Harstad all of Morris and special extended family members: Vedar, Mike, Gwen, Rachel, James, Krystal, Marie, Bill and Michelle. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers: Ervin Harstad, Adolph Long, Charles Mesenbrink and Charles Ritter and great-uncles: Chuck Mesenbrink and Eddie Harstad.

Pallbearers for the service are Darrin Mithun and Mike Ritter. Ken and Linda Hodgson will provide special music for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
