Janet Mae (Chavis) Riley was born August 12, 1947. Jan grew up in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. She has lived in the Morris area for the last 20 years. Married 43 glorious years to the same soul mate and love of her life.
Jan died on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at West Wind Village in Morris, MN, having lived to reach the age of 62 years.
She is survived by one son: Eric (Jennifer) Riley of Barnesville and Dyane (John) Trowbridge of Morris; four grandsons: James Riley, Jeremy Riley, Jayden Riley and Jesse Trowbridge and 12 brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband: Myron “Ron” Riley.
Deb Mahoney will serve as pianist for the service with Tom and Pearl Horning providing special music for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, Minnesota is in charge of the arrangements.
