Jean Rorvig

Jean Jennette Stadsvold, daughter of Paul and Alma (Skare) Stadsvold, was born February 6, 1924 in Rolling Forks Township in Pope County, Minnesota. On September 19, 1942, she was united in marriage to Milton Rorvig. To this union four children were born: Jon, Wayne, Linda and Debra. Jean was a stay at home mom and she also helped with the farm work. She was a member of Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Jean died on September 25, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Benson, Minnesota. She lived to reach the age of 86 years.
She is survived by her children: Jon Rorvig of Benson, Wayne Rorvig of Moorseville, NC, Linda (Richard) Zink of Starbuck and Debra Bartz (and friend: Michael Langford) of Benson; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one brother: Donald (Ruthie) Stadsvold of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister and one niece.
Shari Opdahl will serve as organist for the service with Vic Vatthauer serving as soloist. Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck is handling the arrangements.
