Jesse Nay

Funeral services for Jesse Nay of Starbuck, MN will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Glenwood Lutheran Church in Glenwood, MN, with Reverend Krista Lee officiating. Visitation will be the day of the funeral from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at a later date.

Jesse Robert Nay was born on September 5, 2001 in Glenwood, Minnesota, the oldest son of Justin and Charlene (Tousignant) Nay. He attended grade school at Minnewaska Area Elementary Schools. He attended Minnewaska Area Day Treatment and then transferred to the Runestone Area Education. From the moment Jesse was born he was on the go! He was always active whether it be playing basketball with his brother or skateboarding around town. He was adventurous, always chasing after animals and pranking his parents. Jesse used his big heart to always try to make people laugh and did whatever he could to bring a smile to their face. He was a lover of all music types, not ever being shy about singing along or jamming to his favorite tune. Challenging his dad and brother at video games, added more “man time” spent with family. The whole family would get involved when the board games came out, adding times of laugher and teasing amongst them. He loved to spend time with and smother with love his younger brother Jacob and new baby sister Aria. Jesse and his amazing smile will be missed by his family and friends.

Jesse passed away unexpectedly at the age of 18 on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

He is survived by his parents, Justin and Charlene (Tousignant) Nay; siblings, Jacob and Aria Nay; grandparents, William Tousignant, Linda Torguson, Robert Nay, Kimberly Edens; great-grandparents, Millie Emerson, “Papa” Craig Dugan, Vita and Richie Kent; aunts, Christine (Jeff) Buse, Lisa Jones, Lacie Bates; uncles, Josh Cretilli, Joey Nay, Tim Tousignant, Rich Tousignant and Nick Tousignant; cousins, Darius Hott, Philip Hott, Devin Hott, Kyra Walker, Tom Walker, Jayda and Julianna Garcia, Cameron and Liam Cretilli and Kali Bates. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Debbie Rhine; cousins, Joey Rhine; uncle, RJ Tousignant; and best friend Lily Cayo.
