Kathryn Ann Peterson, daughter of Russell and Gladys (Lund) Peterson, was born on April 2, 1929 in Benson, Minnesota. She grew up and attended school in Benson, graduating from Benson High School. After high school, Kathy moved to Washington D.C. During her time there, she had many adventures including working for the National Security Agency, being crowned Cherry Blossom Princess from Minnesota, and meeting the love of her life, Harvey Titsworth.

The couple was married on August 28, 1954 and lived in many locations before finally settling in Deerfield, Illinois, where she was a homemaker and raised her daughters. During this time, she enjoyed activities such as being a Girl Scout Leader, Sunday school teacher, and animal cake maker for special events.  She later went on to work for Discover Card during the start up of their company.

Kathy and Harvey enjoyed traveling together with highlights being their trips to Hawaii and Indonesia.  She also looked forward to their frequent trips to Texas to look at Bluebonnets and visit family.  Kathy and Harvey retired at their home on Lake Minnewaska, closer to family.  Kathryn was a great hostess and loved having visitors, always making them feel welcome. Kathy was also the unofficial chief organizer of the Annual Lund Family Reunion every summer in the Starbuck City Park.

Kathryn passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood, Minnesota.  She was 92 years old.

She is survived by her husband: Harvey Titsworth of Starbuck; two daughters: Joan (Jerry) Kerkvliet of Glenwood and Susan Zaic of Starbuck; two granddaughters: Breeana Zaic of Starbuck and Megan (Greg) Glarneau of Alexandria; two great-grandchildren: Gauge and Chloe Galarneau of Alexandria and sister: Janet Peterson of Minneapolis.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother: Richard Peterson.
