Keith Donald Stroman was born on April 12, 1954, in Morris, MN to Donald and Betty (Foley) Stroman. He grew up with six siblings on a farm South of Alberta, where he discovered his passion for farming at a very young age. He started working fields at the age of 12, and by 16 he was farming on his own. He graduated from Chokio-Alberta High School in 1972 and went to Alexandria Technical College, where he graduated from the Production Ag program in 1974. He was married to Karen (Vangsness) Stroman November 10, 1979. Keith and Karen raised two sons, Joe and Charlie, on their farm South of Alberta.

Keith's wife, sons, family and friends were very important to him. He had great love and respect for his dad, Don, and treasured their time together. An outstanding farmer, Keith produced 40 successful harvests during his career. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Karen Stroman of Alberta; two sons: Joe Stroman (Sheryl Anderson and her children, Nevaeh and Tyce) of Morris and Charlie Stroman of Kandahar, Afghanistan; father: Donald Stroman of Morris; siblings: Diane (Larry) Macht of Raymond, Julie (Jim) Boyle of Alexandria, Beverly (Dennis) Panzer of Plymouth, Marie (Jim) Uhrich of Maple Grove, Marcy (John Stedje) Stroman of Winsted and Kevin (Jeromy Peterson) Stroman of Bainbridge Island, WA; extended family: Roger (Lila) Anderson of Alberta, Diane Anderson (Andrew Geisler) of Richfield, Keith (Debbie) Anderson and their children of Chokio and Kyle (Angela) Anderson and their children of Alberta, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Tanker.

Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; his twin brother, Kenneth and his special friend, Lucille Anderson.
