Faith, family, wide open spaces, farming with his dad and being behind the wheel of equipment, help define Kurt's life. Kurt told Nichole that the prettiest time of the year was when the wheat was turning. Kurt's love for his family was everywhere, "catching sunnies" with his kids, giving rides on the jet ski at his parents cabin, chauffeuring the kids around to visit grandma's and grandpa's, family and friends when Nichole worked. Kurt loved to give hugs and kisses to his kids. Kurt liked to have fun, playing games like "horsy" with his son and card and board games with his daughters. Kurt was very proud of his kids and loved "showing them off to others.
His laughter was contagious. He loved visiting family and friends, sharing stories, some of those stories involved hunting with his family and Kurt was still looking for that "big buck". Kurt loved Nichole and together they enjoyed working on their house and most of all, raising their children.
Kurt was honored to become a member of the Morris Fire Department in 2001 and loved serving the community as a fireman. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
