There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Spaulding Sports Bar in Chokio, Minnesota.
Lois Marie Tatge, daughter of Fred and Delia (Wahl) Tatge, was born September 8, 1962 in Morris, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at the Federated Church in Morris. She graduated from the Morris High School in 1981 and the Alexandria Vocational School in 1983. Lois had worked at many restaurants in Morris including Del Monico, Trailways, Don’s Café, Chokio Café and Spaulding Sports Bar in Chokio. Rick Ehrp met Lois in February of 1992 and have been together for almost 30 years.
Lois liked working in restaurants and bars and visiting with the customers. She loved her time working and spending time with her best friend, Bev Seifermann. She enjoyed crocheting granny square blankets for family and friends. She had a giving heart and would help family and friends by shopping, making meals, baking cookies and helping them out. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and she loved decorating for it and handing out candy.
She cherished being a step-mom, grandma and great-grandma. She was always ready to help out with any school projects with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed attending their school and sporting events. Her love and support shined through to all of her grandchildren as she was their biggest cheerleader.
Lois died unexpectedly on October 28, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota at the age of 59.
She is survived by her loving fiancé: Rick; children: Jeremy (Jen) Ehrp, Candee (Kenny) Tracy, and Stacy (Jeremy) Anderson; grandchildren: Austin, Ericka (Nick), Taylor Jo (Sammy), Dylan, Gavin, Harlee, Peyton, Skyler, Marshall, Bentlee and Rilynn; great-grandson: Grayson; siblings: Nancy (Jim) Koos of Avon, Shirley Wittig of Winter Haven, FL, Ronnie Tatge of Coon Rapids; brother-in-law: George Haugen of Morris; nieces and nephews and their families: Kristin (Mike) Olson, Anya and Sven, John (Angie) Koos, Joel and Collin, Lori (Nate) Austin, Emily and Haily and Mike and Sheri Koos. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Doris Tatge and Connie Tatge; brother-in-law: Gayle Wittig; nephew Ross Olson and Nova Koos.
