Lucille "Lucy" Ann Krupke Heil, 82, of Hancock, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in her home on June 14, 2017. As the youngest of four children to Fred and Meta Krupke, she of course was the apple of her father's eye. A mischievous little girl, she could be found fishing or getting into trouble with her three older brothers. She was a beautiful and social young woman who was voted homecoming queen, enjoyed singing and taking care of others. She married Robert L. Heil of Hancock, Minnesota in 1953 and was blessed to be the mother of five children. They moved to Georgetown, Texas in 1985 where she became a thirty-year active member of Christ Lutheran Church. She contributed her beautiful voice to the church choir and caring hands to making prayer shawls for her community. Lucy enjoyed baking, gardening, attending her grandchildren's special events, and telling the many "fish stories" from her time in Minnesota. Lucy loved to laugh, was confident in her faith and was always grateful for times spent with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and her devoted husband. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Deborah and husband Gary McHone, Bradley and wife Pam, Wayne and wife Lisa, John and wife Tracie, and Jodi and husband Chris Austen. Ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law: Yvonne Krupke.
