Norman Bremer, son of Frank and Caroline (Kaschmitter) Bremer, was born on September 26, 1928 in Wilmont, Minnesota. In 1941, his family moved to Alberta, MN, where he graduated from Alberta High School in 1946. In 1943, the family moved to a farm place near Morris. Following his schooling, he enlisted in the service, where he served in the Korean War. When he received an honorable discharge, he returned to the home farm place near Morris. After being on the farm place for awhile, he moved back to Alberta, where he farmed and went south to do custom combining for five years. He then moved to Nebraska, where he lived for 30 years and worked at Hartwell Elevator. When he retired he moved to Gibbon, Nebraska. He spent one year at the Soldiers Home in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Norman died on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha Nebraska, having lived to reach the age of 78 years.
He is survived by one brother: Henry Bremer from Hoffman and two sisters: Edith Crippen of Montana and Estelle Petersen of Ortonville. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Arnold, Clarence, Edwin and Gerald and two sisters: Annae Mae Enright and Verena Hawley.
