Memorial services for Pamela Kussatz of Lowry will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Father Todd Schneider will be officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Pamela Marie Cline daughter of Raymond and Josephine (Murphy) Cline was born September 2, 1954 in Graceville, Minnesota. She grew up and attended school in Alberta, graduating from Alberta High School in 1972. She was united in marriage to Gordon Scribner December 18, 1971 at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris, Minnesota. Following their marriage the couple moved to Florida, where Gordon served in the United States Navy. Later they moved to Morris, where they made their home. Pam worked as a waitress at various places and later became the manager of the Morris Bowling Alley for over 20 years. She married Ronald Kussatz on June 24, 2000 in Long Beach, MN and they made their home in Lowry, where Pam worked as the assistant gambling manager for the Legion.
She was a member of the Lowry Legion Auxiliary. Pam enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafts, camping, fishing and spending time outside. She especially liked spending time with her grandchildren and going on trips to Florida with her family.
Pamela died Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria. She lived to reach the age of 60 years.
She is survived by her husband: Ron Kussatz of Lowry; two sons: Jason (Traci) Scribner of Grand Forks and Jeremy (Ashley) Scribner of Alexandria; two step-children: Paulette (Gene) Brunetta of Edge Water Park, NJ and Ron Kussatz Jr of Willmar; siblings: Ronnie Cline of Morris, Jerry (Audrey) Cline of Alexandria, Geraldine (David) Hennen of Clear Water, Kathy (Steve) Staples of Clitherall and Tim Cline of Morris; sister-in-law: Janice (Ray) Weiss of Morris; brother-in-law: Marvin Kisgen of Alberta; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Patricia Kisgen; step son: Randy Kussatz; and two sisters-in-law: Mary and Sherry Cline.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
