to John and Alma (Olson) Henrichs.
She was baptized in Morris on June 2, 1922 and confirmed June 11, 1937 at
St. John’s
Lutheran
Church
in Donnelly. She attended school in District 7 in
Stevens
County
.
Pearl
married Albert T. Anderson on June 23, 1940. The couple made their home in Donnelly, where
Pearl
worked for the poultry dressing plant and egg candling plant in the 50’s. She was a waitress in Morris for 20 years and spent the last 17 years doing daycare in her home.
Pearl
was also “Donnelly’s hairdresser” in the 50’s and 60’s. Albert passed away December 24, 1990.
Pearl
has continued to live in Donnelly until the time of her death.
Pearl
was a member of the KLCW, the quilting group, and a Sunday school teacher at
Kongsvinger
Lutheran
Church
.
Pearl
enjoyed family gatherings, picnics, fishing, playing cards, dancing, cooking and baking – especially Norwegian sweets. She was a great story teller.

died on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the
Stevens
Community
Medical
Center
in
Morris
,
MN
, having lived to reach the age of 88 years.
Surviving Pearl are her two daughters, Janice (Dennis) Melchert of Alexandria and Beverly Hurlbut of Donnelly; eight grandchildren: Kevin (Linda) Melchert of Inver Grove Heights, Michael (Lisa) Melchert of Herman, Jill Gibbs of Plymouth, Kathy (Tom) Brock of Cincinnati, OH, Corey (Kris Gjerset) Hurlbut of Sauk Rapids, Craig Hurlbut of Mesa, AZ, Nicole (Jason) Armstrong of Farwell and Kirby Hurlbut of Los Angeles, CA; 17 great-grandchildren: Chad and Jordin Melchert, Stephen Gibbs, T.J., Kathleen, Elizabeth and Andrew Brock, Shayla, Chelsey, Skylar and Sydney Hurlbut, Kody, Bailey, Rylee and Gavin Armstrong, and Taya and Chloe Hurlbut. Also surviving Pearl is her sister: Julette Banister of Donnelly; sisters-in-law: Shirley Henrichs of Donnelly, Beverly Henrichs of St. Louis Park, Arlene Henrichs of Hoffman and Pearl Wilke Anderson of Donnelly; brother-in-law: Lloyd Plocker of Morris; several loving nieces and nephews; daycare children: Justin and Sara Stallman and Brittany and Brady Cardwell and her adoptive Sunday School Class: Josh Erdahl, David Larson, Adam Erickson, Brock Graff, Amanda Henrichs and Kristi Koehntop.
