Raymond Beebe

Funeral services for Raymond L. Beebe, of Ramsey, formerly of Morris, Minnesota, will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Morris Evangelical Free Church in Morris.  Reverends Marlin Mohrman and Hector Franco will be officiating.  A visitation will held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.  Burial will be at the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.

Raymond Luverne Beebe was born on October 25, 1928, to Robert William and Margaret Ann (Miller) Beebe in Moore Township, near Hancock, Stevens County, Minnesota.  Raymond grew up in Moore Township where he received his education until the 8th grade at District 45 Country School.  Following his schooling, he farmed in Horton Township.  On October 1, 1949, Raymond was united in marriage to Helen “Jeanne” Mulvihill in Hancock by Rev. Elmer A. Benning.  They made their home in Morris; Raymond continued farming and later drove school bus.

Raymond was a member of the 1st Congregational Church in Hancock and later the Evangelical Free Church in Morris. He enjoyed reading, playing billiards, card games with the Beebe’s, as well as many games with family. Raymond would never turn down ice cream, and mostly, his favorite pastime was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Raymond died peacefully at his home in Ramsey on Tuesday, July 12, 2022; he lived to 93 years.

Raymond is survived by his children: Sheryl Fischer of Ramsey, Randolph (Leola) Beebe of Smyrna, GA, and Tammy (Barry) Miller of Citronelle, AL; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret; his wife, Jeanne; son-in-law, Leon Fischer; great-granddaughter, Hadley Grace Miller; sisters: Lulu Becker Olson, Margaret Beebe, and Betty Kolden; and brothers, Lloyd, Robert, and Marshall Beebe.
