Raymond 'Snookie' Noyes

Raymond 'Snookie' Noyes, age 78, of Starbuck, Minnesota, died peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at his home at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck.  A celebration of life will be held, details will be posted when they are available.  

Raymond Reynold Noyes was born in Starbuck, Minnesota, on October 20, 1945, to parents Raymond and Bertha (Larson) Noyes.  He was baptized and confirmed at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck.  Ray received his education in Starbuck, graduating from Starbuck High School.  Following high school, Ray began his lifelong career working in construction and production as well as his service with the US Army National Guard. He lived away from Starbuck for a time, but Starbuck was always home. 

Ray loved hunting and fishing.  His friends were important to him; and he loved sharing stories with them. 

Ray died peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at his home at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck, he was 78 years old.

Ray is survived by his children: Tonia Noyes of Watkins and William (Leah) Klitzke of Alexandria; grandchildren: Nissa (Brandon) Pfeiler of Watkins, Ciera (Ethan) Conrad of Hutchinson, Zack Klitzke of Alexandria, and Abigail Klitzke of Alexandria; and one great-granddaughter, Willow Pfeiler.  Ray is preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister.

Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck is in care of arrangements for Ray.
