Robert Rustad

The memorial services for Robert "Bud" Rustad of Hancock, MN will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Hancock, with Reverend Julius Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Monday at the church two hours prior to services.

Robert "Bud" Rustad, 73, a resident of rural Hancock, Minnesota, passed away on the first day of spring, March 20, 2014 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Robert "Bud" Rustad, son of Gerhard and Alfrida (Pedersen) Rustad, was born December 7, 1940 at the Starbuck Hospital in Starbuck, Minnesota. Bud grew up in Hancock on the family farm and continued to live there throughout his life. He graduated from Hancock High School in 1959. He was united in marriage to Judith Enright who passed away in 1989. Bud married Joanna Thoreson on April 6, 1991.

Bud worked as a self-employed carpenter. He served on the church council. Bud was clerk of Hoff Township from 2005 until his death.

Bud is survived by his wife, Joanna, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy, his parents and two infant brothers.
