Robert Allen Sime

SERVICES FOR ROBERT ARE POSTPONED UNTIL A LATER DATE

On Monday, March 27th, 2023, Robert Sime, loving husband and father, passed away at age 79. Robert was born on August 30th, 1943, in Boscobel, Wisconsin to Adolph and Margaret (Hackett) Sime. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 1971 and then taught school for more than 30 years. His first teaching job was with the Peace Corps in Malaysia from 1972-1974. He moved to Graceville, Minnesota, where he taught science until 2005.

Bob married Jacqueline Buck in 1971. They raised one son Dennis, and two daughters, LeAnn and Ahlica.

In 1998, they moved to the country where Bob’s love of gardening greatly satisfied him. He also enjoyed fishing, which he did in all his spare time.

Bob is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Jacqueline Sime of Chokio; one son, Dennis of St. Paul, MN; one daughter, LeAnn of Redwood Falls, MN; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; several sisters and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Ahlica; his parents, Margaret and Adolf Sime; and his brothers, John and Melvin.
