Ronnie Lee Joy, son of Joyce Wendt and William Joy Jr., was born January 16, 1957 at Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ronnie grew up in Morris, MN and began his education in a country school house through the third grade.
After that, he attended the rest of his years in the Morris Public School system.
After his schooling, Ronnie worked as a welder for a variety of companies in Morris, Benson and Minneapolis, MN, before moving to Fargo, ND to work, where he spent the majority of his adult years.
While living in Fargo, he met the love of his life, Dana Kremer, and the couple was united in marriage in 1989.

After her death, Ronnie moved to a farm site near Horace, ND.
He was later married to his second wife, Eileen, but their marriage ended a few years later in divorce.
Ronnie had continued to live on his place near Horace since that time.
Ronnie’s favorite hobby in life was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Through this passion for riding, Ronnie met many people and formed the strongest friendships of his life.
One of his fondest memories was always his trip out to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, SD.
Not only did he enjoy riding, but he also enjoyed using his mechanical talents to work on motorcycles.
Ronnie died on July 8, 2010 at the Meritcare Hospital in Fargo, ND, having lived to reach the age of 53 years.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Wendt of Morris, MN; his grandmother, Florence Wendt of Morris, MN; his uncle, Roger Wendt of Morris, MN and his many friends.
