Funeral services for Rosa Kill of Morris, Minnesota, will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris, with Father Todd Schneider officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Morris, Minnesota.
Rosa Theresia Frass, daughter of Michael and Rosalia (Prichert) Frass, was born February 22, 1947 in Munich, Germany. At the age of four, her family moved to the United States. Rosa grew up in Alberta, later moving to Morris. Rosa attended school and graduated from Alberta High School in 1966. On July 8, 1967, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Kill at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. The couple lived in Morris where they raised their three daughters. Rosa was very proud to become a United States Citizen on June 13, 1978. Rosa loved working with the staff at UMM, working there until her retirement in 2011. Kenneth passed away July 25, 2006. Rosa continued to live at her home in Morris until moving to the Legacy in August of 2022, where she lived until the time of her passing.
Rosa was always willing to help anyone whenever she could, especially her many friends whom she held very dear to her heart. Rosa was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, a volunteer at the Stevens County ARC, helped with Morris Girl Scouts and a member of TOPS. She also was an active member of the Pomme De Terre Garden Club and helped out at the Stevens County Fair open class building every year. She enjoyed working in her beautiful flower garden, baking goodies for the grandchildren, sewing, thrift store shopping and garage sales. Rosa especially enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends.
Rosa passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Legacy in Morris. She was 76 years old.
She is survived by three daughters: Maria (Leo) Berlinger of Chokio, Sally (Ken) McNally of Morris and Stephanie (Jodi Svaleson) Kill of Howard Lake; five grandchildren: Jeni (Bruce) Albjerg, Josh (Kim) McNally, Amy (Matt) Arnold, Bree McNally and William (Fiancé: Isabel) McNally; three great-grandsons: Chandler and Coyer McNally and Evan Arnold; six great-granddaughters: Annie, Emmy, Mily and Johanna Albjerg and Wylie and Sydnie McNally; four brothers: Mike Frass, Rick (Sue) Frass, Paul (Susan) Frass and Joe (Teri) Frass; three sisters: Sue Christie, Doris Frass and Elizabeth (John) Schomer; brothers-in-law: Mickey Joe and Donald (Janelle) Kill; sister-in-law and best friend: Judy Lubenow and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; one infant son: Kenneth Michael Kill; her parents; her parents-in-law and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
