Sophie Namondo Njumbe was born in Buea in the village of Mokunda, Cameroon West Africa, daughter of Njumbe Njome and Liengu Ngou. Mother of twelve children, preceded in death by seven children and survived by five children.
son, Joel Mayowa Esombe, daughter, Elisa Limunga Esombe, daughter, Sarah Liengu Esombe, son, Samuel Moka Njumbe, son, John Elakie Fale. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
