A memorial gathering honoring the life of Tamara Mason, will be held Monday, November 14, 2011 from 5 to 7 pm at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, with a time of sharing and a candle-light service to begin at 7 pm that evening. Reverend Jim Albert will be officiating.
Tamara Lee Cobb-Mason was born August 31, 1961 in Adams County, Ohio to parents, Jimmy & Carrol (Frances) Cobb. Tamara spent her early childhood in Ohio, later living in Mason County, Kentucky. She also spent several years in New Orleans, Louisiana before moving to Morris, Minnesota in 2005. Tamara spent the last year of her life residing in Alberta, Minnesota.
Through the years, Tamara had several vocations, including doing construction work for electric power plants. While living in New Orleans, she worked as a bartender and also ran a motorcycle repair shop, where she developed a love for motorcycles. Tamara loved to ride motorcycle any and every time she had the chance. Tamara had a love for life, and usually lived it right on the edge!
Tamara's life ended on Christmas Night 2010 at her home in Alberta, MN.
She was laid to rest in Summit Cemetery, Morris, Minnesota on November 2, 2011.
She is survived by her mother, Carrol Cobb of Ohio; three sons: Dylan Clemens, Andrew Cobb and Jacob Cobb; family friends, James & Anna Crummie of Donnelly, MN and her special friend of two years, Mike Jipson of Chokio, MN.
In lieu of sending out acknowledgement cards, Tamara's friends and family would like to extend a sincere, heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone who has shown their support during this tragic situation. Any memorial money that is collected will be used to place a permanent marker on Tamara's grave.
