Wallace (Wally) Robert McCollar passed away peacefully on April 30, 2020 at West Wind Village. He was 82 years of age.

Wally, son of Maurice (Mac) and Laura (Walker) McCollar, grew up in Morris, Minnesota and remained living in the Stevens County area until his death. For many years, Wally owned McCollar’s Jewelry in Morris.

Wally is survived by his three children: Terri (Ed) O’Malley, Robert McCollar, Mark McCollar; three grandchildren: Meghan (Edward) Baumann, Daniel O’Malley, Patrick O’Malley; and two great grandchildren: Will Baumann, Cassidy Baumann.  Wally was preceded in death by his brother Maurice (Micky) McCollar and his former wife Joan (Carlson) McCollar.

Due to travel restrictions and for health protection, a memorial service will take place at a later date – most likely the summer of 2020. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery in Morris.

Wally’s children kindly request that memorials be given to a charity of choice.
